Congratulations to our 2018 Scholarship Recipients!

This September 12th, BI Norwegian Business School organized the 2018 Scholarship Awards Ceremony to welcome the new cohort of scholarship recipients from its Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. The 71 outstanding awardees have demonstrated great motivation and excellent academic skills in a variety of fields.

This year’s students come from 25 different countries, and 59% of them are women. Moreover, the BI MSc. Presidential Scholarship has been awarded to 10 national students and 19 international. We are happy to see the enthusiasm and fresh perspectives the new scholarship students bring to the school.

The students had the opportunity to hear from BI President Inge Jan Henjesand and the Dean Master, Janicke Rasmussen. Furthermore, Maalfrid Brath, Managing Director for ManPowerGroup Norway for the last nine years and leader of the BI Alumni Advisory Board, shared some of her wisdom with the awardees. Maalfrid emphasized the challenging yet rewarding path they have ahead, both professionally and academically, and she encouraged them to always stay curious!

BI is committed to further develop a global campus with strong students who will make a difference. BI offers a wide variety of scholarship opportunities for different types of applicants, including international students, Norwegian students, students aiming for both BBA and MSc. degrees, as well as students who attend the QS World Grad School Fair. Moreover, the A. Wilhelmsen Foundation provides funding for a limited number of scholarships.  Scholarships are open for applicants of all nationalities, ages, and backgrounds. Read more about them here.

On behalf of all of us at BI, we congratulate once again all the scholarship awardees and wish them the best in their new adventure. We also encourage applicants to apply for scholarship opportunities and begin a new adventure on their own!
